Work History
11/2002-Present. Symantec Corporation (formerly VERITAS)
Training Production Manager, Global Education.
Reporting to the Director of Worldwide Training Development, I manage a team of editors, web specialists, and production personnel, who are responsible for assembly, editing, quality assurance, file control, and readiness for a library of 150+ course offerings.
I create customized toolsets and work flows for geographically diverse development teams and directly manage multiple vendor relationships, including fulfillment, voice talent, and coding.

In addition, I have been instrumental in the development of Symantec Education's Universal Content Methodology. UCM enables the production of classroom books/slideware, remote instructor-led webcasts, and asynchronous self-paced eLearning modules, all from single source.

Sequence Design is a privately held Electronic Design Automation (EDA) firm. I managed the authoring of all its branded publications and technical collateral.

OpenGrid was a privately-held startup developing a web-based application platform for the business-to-business market. I managed or contributed to usability, human interface, and application design teams and personally directed the visual design of the OpenGrid platform.
