Work History
2002-Present. Symantec Corporation
Sr. Manager of Training Production, Symantec Global Services.

Reporting to the Director of Worldwide Training Development, I manage a geographically diverse team of editors, web specialists, and publishers who are responsible for assembly, editing, quality assurance, file control, and LMS readiness for 600+ course offerings per quarter. I directly manage multiple vendor relationships, including fulfillment, SCORM, and digital rights management, and am responsible for the implementation and enforcement of work flows for global content development.

Additionally, I have personally written several productivity applications used by both Symantec internals and business partners around the world, the two highest profile of which are

Symantec Education Course Dashboard, which aggregates proprietary and highly disparate data and presents it in-memory in a searchable and associative interface. This tool was the inaugural winner of CEdMA’s Innovation Award in November 2010.

E-Books On Demand, a front-end application to a DRM system that enables secure, trackable, self-serve distribution of training materials. Serving over 10,000 users—about 60% of whom are partners and end-users—with total downloads to-date of 400K documents. Winner of Symantec's Pinnacle Award in August 2009.

2001-2002. Sequence Design Inc.
A privately held Electronic Design Automation (EDA) firm, I managed the authoring of all its branded publications and technical collateral.
